Help center / Stripe and getting paid

I connected the wrong Stripe account

There is no button to swap your Stripe account or country on Dockstall. Fix what you can on Stripe, and write to us for anything else before you make more sales.

First, check what's wrong

A detail is wrong, like your business name or website. Try correcting it on Stripe. Click Open Stripe dashboard on Payouts, or Continue with Stripe if you haven't finished. These details live with Stripe, not with us.

Your bank account is wrong. That's also on Stripe. See change the bank account for your payouts.

The country or the whole account is wrong. You can't change this yourself. Your store has one Stripe account, and Dockstall sets the country once, when the account is created.

What to do

  1. Don't disconnect the account yet. See what happens if you disconnect Stripe.
  2. Open Help center from your account menu and click Write to us.
  3. Tell us your store address, what's wrong and whether you've already had paid orders.

We'll look at what's possible in your case. We can't promise a swap will be possible.

Consider using Hide from store on your paid products while you wait, so no new sales land in the wrong account. See draft, online, hidden and archived.

What to know about past orders

  • A paid order stays tied to the Stripe account that took the payment. The money from it stays there.
  • A refund on that order goes through that same account.
  • So keep the old account open while it may still need to pay refunds or answer disputes.

Who pays

Dockstall doesn't charge for this. Any costs or rules in closing or changing a Stripe account are between you and Stripe.
