Closest alternatives
If you want to reach buyers abroad, you can state a rough equivalent in your product description, as long as you make clear that the charge is in euro. Buyers outside the euro area can still buy from you, provided their payment method works on Stripe's page.
Buyers paying from another currency
The charge is in euro. If a buyer's card or account is in another currency, any conversion happens between them and their bank or card provider, or on Stripe's side. Dockstall doesn't set a rate and doesn't add anything. Tell buyers to check with their bank if the amount looks different on their statement.
If your bank account isn't in euro
Your sales arrive in your Stripe account in euro. What happens next, such as whether a conversion applies and what it costs, depends on your Stripe account and your bank. Check this in your Stripe dashboard. Click Open Stripe dashboard on Payouts. Stripe explains in its payouts guide that your bank account's currency must match your payout settings.
Who pays
Dockstall's fee is a percentage of the euro price: 5% on Free, 1% on Pro. We don't add a conversion charge. Any conversion cost comes from Stripe or a bank, and we can't change it.
Other languages
The currency is fixed, but your store's language isn't. Buttons, checkout, receipts and buyer emails can follow it. See the languages your store speaks.
