Help center / Stripe and getting paid
Change the bank account for your payouts
You change it on Stripe, in your own Stripe dashboard. Dockstall never sees your bank details and can't change them for you.
Do it on Stripe
- In Dockstall, open Payouts and click Open Stripe dashboard.
- In Stripe, find your bank account settings. Stripe explains how to add a bank account: Settings, then Business, then the Bank accounts and currencies tab.
- Add the new account, or click Edit next to the existing one.
- Complete any check Stripe asks for. You may need to confirm it's you.
Stripe's screens can change. If these names don't match, follow what Stripe shows, or see Stripe's payouts guide.
What happens next
Stripe explains that:
- A payout already on its way still goes to your old account
- During your first-payout waiting period, changes only take effect once that period ends
- The account's details must match your bank statement, and its currency must match your payout settings
So check a pending payout before you close your old account.
Who does what
Your bank details go to Stripe and never through us. That means we can't see them, correct them or tell you which account a payout went to. Your Stripe dashboard shows that.
Who pays
Dockstall charges nothing for this change.
Common problems
You can't edit the account. Stripe says only people with Admin or Owner permissions on the Stripe account can change bank details.
You didn't make a change you can see. Contact Stripe's support straight away, and change your Stripe password. Then write to us if you think your Dockstall account is affected too.
