Help center / Stripe and getting paid
When you get paid
Stripe decides when, not Dockstall. Sales go to your Stripe balance and Stripe pays them to your bank on its schedule, which you can see in your Stripe dashboard.
Where to see your date
- Open Payouts in your dashboard.
- Click Open Stripe dashboard.
- Look at your balance and payouts there. That is the real status, and the only place that has it.
Dockstall doesn't set, see or control your payout dates, so we can't give you a date.
How it works
Every paid sale goes straight to your own Stripe balance. Stripe then pays out to your bank. There is no separate Dockstall payout and no Dockstall minimum.
What Stripe says about timing
All of this is Stripe's, it depends on your account, and it can change. Read Stripe's payouts guide for the current detail.
- Your first payout. Stripe explains that the first payout has a waiting period, often 7 to 14 days, which can be longer depending on your industry and country, and that it can't be waived.
- Later payouts. Stripe explains that they follow your payout schedule, which you can change in your Stripe dashboard. Changing the schedule doesn't change how long a payment takes to become available. It only changes when payouts are sent.
- Small balances. Stripe explains that a balance below its minimum payout amount stays in your account until it grows.
- Your bank. Stripe explains that your bank may take extra time after it receives the money.
Who pays
Stripe takes its fee and our fee from each sale before the money reaches your balance. See what you pay per sale.
Things that can change the picture
- Payouts pending verification on Payouts means Stripe still needs something. See Stripe is asking for more.
- Refunds and disputes come out of your Stripe balance, so they can lower what gets paid out.
- Stripe can hold funds. See can my money be held?
