Countries where you can sell
You can sell on Dockstall if you sell from one of the 27 EU countries or from Switzerland, and nowhere else for now.
The list
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
If your country isn't there
We can't take you on as a seller right now. That includes the UK, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, the US and every other country outside the EU and Switzerland.
Our Terms accept sellers only from the EU and Switzerland, and the Stripe form on Dockstall only offers the countries above. We're sorry if that rules you out today.
Selling from Switzerland
Your prices are in euro, like everyone's, and Stripe pays out to your Swiss bank account: see if your bank account isn't in euro. Swiss VAT, and the rules of the countries where your buyers live, are yours to follow.
Picking your country
You choose Country of your business once, when you click Connect with Stripe. This creates your Stripe account for that country.
There is no way to change it in Dockstall afterwards, so check it before you continue. If you picked the wrong one, see I connected the wrong Stripe account.
Who you need to be
Besides the country, our Terms ask that you are at least 18. Before taking payments you also tell us who you are, with a VAT number or a tax number (see why we ask who's selling). Stripe also verifies your identity and your details, and it decides whether to approve you. We can't decide that for it.
What about your buyers?
Dockstall doesn't limit where your buyers live. Two things are worth knowing:
- Prices are always in euro. See prices are in euro.
- The payment methods a buyer sees are up to Stripe. See payment methods your buyers can use.
You are the seller, so you are responsible for your own taxes, wherever your buyers are.
