Change your store address
You can't change your dockstall.com address yourself, but you can write to us, or put your store on your own domain with Pro.
There's no way to change your yourname.dockstall.com address in the dashboard. You pick it in the first step of setup, and it stays.
Your options
Write to us. Use Help center in your account menu, then Write to us, and tell us the address you have and the one you'd like. We can't promise we'll be able to change it, or say how long it takes.
Use your own domain. On Pro, you can connect yourname.com or shop.yourname.com, and your store is reachable there as well as on your free address. Pro costs €9 a month, billed through Stripe. See connect your own domain.
Start again, if you've had no orders. If your store has never had an order, free ones included, you can close your account in Settings, then sign up again and pick a new address.
Closing removes your store, products and files for good, so you'd have to upload everything again. Your Stripe account stays yours. If you're on Pro, you have to move to Free first and wait for your Pro period to end. See close your account.
Changing your name isn't the same
These can change without touching your address:
- Display name, the name on your store. Change it in Settings, and it shows right away.
- Headline and Intro. Change them in the editor's Header section, then publish.
- A product's own address, the
/p/part. See below.
A product's address
Each product has an address under your store, and you can change it with Change on the product's page. Be careful: changing it breaks links you've already shared, and the old address doesn't redirect to the new one.
What makes an address valid
If you get a new address, it has to be 3 to 32 characters long, using lowercase letters, numbers and dashes, with no dash at the start or end. It also has to be free, and some names are reserved, like shop, store and help.
