Why you have one store per account
Each person or business runs one store on Dockstall, so a second store isn't possible, but you can organise different things inside the one you have.
You can't add a second store. Each account has one, and there is no button to create another.
Our Terms also say that one person or business may run one store. So opening a second account for a second store, as the same person or business, isn't allowed either. We know that's a limit for some people, and we'd rather say so plainly.
Pro doesn't change this. It gives you more designs for your one store, not more stores.
What you can do instead
- Different kinds of work. Show what you sell in your shop, and everything else in projects, each with its own link.
- Different audiences. Link straight to a product from wherever each audience is. Each product has its own address, so you can share it without sending people through the whole store. See share your store.
- Different prices or versions of one thing. Use options, like Personal and Team.
- A different look for a while. On Pro, you can keep up to 10 drafts, as whole store designs to swap between, for a sale or a season. On Free you have one draft.
- Work for a single client. Use a payment link. It isn't shown on your store.
- Your own address. On Pro, you can put your store on your own domain. It's one domain per store.
If you're starting over
If your store has never had an order, free ones included, you can close your account in Settings and start again. This removes your store, products and files for good. Your Stripe account stays yours. See close your account.
If your store has orders, closing goes through privacy@dockstall.com, because your buyers rely on it and some records have to be kept.
