Who does what: Dockstall, Stripe and you
You are the seller, Stripe handles the money on your own account, and Dockstall gives you the store, the checkout and the delivery.
You
You are the seller. Buyers buy from you, and your name is on the sale. That makes these yours:
- What you sell and what you promise about it
- Prices, refunds and answering your buyers
- Your own taxes and any legal duties that come with selling
Stripe
Buyers pay through your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank. Stripe decides:
- Whether your account is approved
- When your money reaches your bank
- Whether any funds are held, and for how long
You can see all of this in your own Stripe dashboard. Stripe also charges its own processing fee on your account.
Dockstall
We give you the store, the checkout, the private delivery of your files and links, and the tools around them, like coupons and analytics. We take our fee on each sale: 5% on Free, 1% on Pro.
We don't hold your money, and we aren't a party to the sale. We can't release funds Stripe is holding, or decide a refund for you.
When something goes wrong
- A payout question goes to Stripe, through your Stripe dashboard. See when you get paid.
- A buyer's question goes to you, at your support email.
- Anything about your store or Dockstall comes to us. See contact us.
