What Dockstall is and how selling works

What you can do with it

You get a store at your own free address, like yourname.dockstall.com. From there you can:

• Sell files, a link, or files and a link together
• Give products away for free
• Send a client a payment link for work you agreed on
• Offer coupons and read your store's analytics

How a sale works

1. A buyer opens your product and clicks to buy. No account is needed, only an email address.
2. They pay on Stripe's page. The money goes to your own Stripe account, not to us.
3. Once the payment is confirmed, they land on their order page, and we email them a private link to it.
4. Stripe pays out to your bank on its own schedule.

Free products skip Stripe. The buyer types their email and gets the product.

What it costs

• Free plan: no monthly fee, 5% of each sale.
• Pro plan: €9 a month, 1% of each sale, plus your own domain, more banners and footers, and 10 drafts.

Our fee is collected by Stripe on each paid sale, on your Stripe account. Stripe also charges its own processing fee, and that one is separate from ours. You bear both. There is no fee on free products. See what you pay per sale.

What it doesn't do

We'd rather tell you now:

• No subscriptions yet. Each sale is a single payment.
• No physical products or shipping.
• No cart. A buyer gets one item per checkout.
• Euro only. See prices are in euro.
• Sellers in the EU and Switzerland only. See countries where you can sell.
• No marketplace. We don't send visitors to your store. See does Dockstall bring me customers?
• Tax is yours. You are the seller, so you are responsible for your own taxes.
