Does Dockstall bring me customers?
No. Dockstall has no marketplace, so the people who buy from you come from places you send them from.
No, and it's better you hear that now. There is no marketplace on Dockstall where buyers browse, and nothing we do will send buyers to your store. We give you the store, the checkout and the delivery. The audience is yours to find.
What can help
- Put your link where people already know you. Your bio, your videos, your newsletter, your posts. Copy it from Your page.
- Link straight to a product. Each product has its own address, so a post can go right to the thing it talks about. See share your store.
- See what works. Add a campaign to your links, then check Analytics. It shows where visitors come from and which campaigns they came through. See track your links with campaigns.
- Fill in how you appear on Google. Your store has its own title, description and sitemap. See how your store appears on Google. Google decides whether and when it shows you.
- Run a coupon. A code gives people a reason to buy now. See create a coupon.
Things that exist, but aren't a traffic source
- The leaderboard. There's a public ranking of stores by sales on dockstall.com, showing the top 50. You choose whether to be on it. It favours stores already selling, so don't count on it for your first buyers.
- "Made with Dockstall". This small badge on every store sends visitors from your store to dockstall.com. It doesn't bring anyone to you.
About buyers' emails
You receive the email address of each buyer for the order. Our Terms ask you to use it to deliver, support and account for that sale, and not to add buyers to a marketing list without their consent. Dockstall has no mailing list tool. If you want a list of your own, build it elsewhere with people's consent, and link to it from your store. See add your socials and links.
If nothing is selling yet
Open Analytics and look at From visit to sale. It shows how many people visited, saw a product, started checkout and bought. Few visits means people aren't reaching you yet. Many visits and no checkouts points at the product page or the price. We can't promise any level of sales, on any plan.
