Sell different versions of a product

Add a version

1. Go to Products and open your product.
2. Open Price & versions and press Add another version.
3. Fill in Version name and Price, or tick Free.
4. Add a Short description and Copies available if you need them.
5. Press Save version.

You can have up to 10 versions on a product.

Every product starts with one version called Standard. While it's the only one, buyers don't see that name. Once you add a second, buyers see every version's name, so press Edit and rename it to something like "Personal".

Give a version its own files

1. Open What buyers get.
2. Above the upload area, next to New uploads available to:, choose All versions or pick the versions you want. This choice appears once you have more than one active version.
3. Upload your files.

This choice is made when you upload. To change it on a file that isn't released yet, delete the file and upload it again. A file in a released version stays as it is, so change it by releasing a new version.

If you add a version after release, it only gets files marked for all versions. Give it its own files in a new version.

Give a version its own link

1. Open What buyers get, with A link or Both selected.
2. Each active version has its own fields, such as Link for Team and Button label for Team. Paste its link and, if you like, the words on its button. They save by themselves.

If you leave one of them empty, that version uses the original's. Change a version's link and its past buyers get the new one on their next click.

Delete a version

Press the bin next to it, then Delete. This works when nobody has bought it, nobody is in checkout for it, none of its own files are released, and another active version remains. Otherwise press Hide: it leaves your store and past buyers keep their access.

The original version, the first in the list, can't be deleted.
