Shippy, the AI assistant, and reaching a person
Ask Shippy, at the bottom right of the help pages, answers from these articles, and can hand you over to a person.
Shippy is Dockstall's AI assistant. Open Ask Shippy at the bottom right of any help page. Anyone can use it, with or without an account.
How it works
- Shippy is an AI, and it can get things wrong. Check the article it links before you act on something important.
- It answers from these help articles, with a link, so you can read the source yourself. If they don't cover your question, it says so. It answers in the language you write in.
- It can't see your account, orders or payments, and it can't change anything. Leave out card numbers and passwords.
- It can hand you over to a person. It fills in a form with what you need. You check it and send it, and we answer by email. You can also use Write to a person instead at any time.
When a chat ends
Shippy can end a conversation that has finished or isn't going anywhere, and long ones end on their own. You can start a new one 5 minutes later. There's also a daily limit on questions.
If it isn't available, you'll see a form that goes straight to a person.
Email always stays
Shippy never replaces email. You can write to hello@dockstall.com whenever you want.
What it doesn't change
An answer from Shippy isn't a decision. Refunds are still the seller's call, and Stripe's decisions are still Stripe's.
Your data
What you type goes to Anthropic, the company whose AI model we use, and we keep conversations for 30 days. See the Privacy Policy.
