A buyer needs their link again

What to send your buyer

Copy this and change it as you like:

Go to dockstall.com/orders, enter the email you used to buy, and click Email me a link. You'll get a link to all your orders with that email. It works for 1 hour.

You can't resend the delivery email from Orders, and we can't either.

How long links last

• The link in the delivery email lasts 7 days. When it's expired, the buyer sees "This link has expired" with Get a new link.
• The link from `dockstall.com/orders` lasts 1 hour and covers every order for that email.
• After opening a link, the buyer's browser keeps access to their order for up to 30 days. Without that access, an order page shows as not found, so they need a fresh link.

If it doesn't work

Nothing arrives. Ask them to check spam and to make sure it's the email they typed at checkout. Check it yourself on the order. The page gives the same answer whether or not the email has any orders, so it won't tell them they mistyped it.

They typed the wrong email. You can't change it on the order. See a buyer used the wrong email.

They tried several times. There's a limit of 3 requests per email per hour. Ask them to wait.

The order was refunded or lost in a dispute. Their link opens, but access has ended. See fees and access after a refund.

The download itself fails. See my download won't start.

A buyer account helps

Buyers can create a free account with the same email and see their orders there, without needing a link. Dockstall attaches orders to the account once the email is verified. See buy without an account, or claim past orders.

Who does what

This all happens on Dockstall. Stripe isn't involved, and it costs neither of you anything.
