Help center / Orders, refunds and disputes
Find an order
Open Orders in your dashboard and search by the buyer's email or the order number, or filter by status.
Find it
- Open Orders in your dashboard.
- In Search by email or order number, type part of the buyer's email, or the order number with digits only. Leave out the
#, as it won't match. - Click Filter.
Each paid sale also emails you a link to its order.
Filter by status
- Paid
- Partially refunded
- Refunded
- Disputed
- Dispute lost
The list shows 50 orders per page, with the newest first. It includes free claims and payment link orders, which have a payment link tag.
What's on the order
Open an order to see:
- Items, any Discount, and Charged to buyer
- Dockstall fee, with the rate and plan at purchase
- Delivery, with their access status and up to 20 recent downloads or link opens
- Refund and Disputes, where they apply
- References, with the Stripe payment ID
Not finding it?
- No match on email. The buyer may have typed a different address at checkout. Ask for their receipt, or for the order number on it.
- They paid, but no order exists. Dockstall only creates an order after a payment succeeds. Slower methods can take time to confirm. Check your Stripe dashboard using Open Stripe dashboard on Payouts. See why a buyer's payment failed.
- The order shows an attention tag. Open it. The notice explains what happened, for example a duplicate payment on a one-time link. See a one-time link was paid twice.
Where it happens
Dockstall holds the order and its delivery record. Stripe holds the payment and its fees. Amounts in Orders are what the buyer paid, and Stripe's own fee appears in your Stripe account.
