Can Dockstall's fees change?

Yes, they can. We announce changes in advance, at least 15 days before they apply, and they never apply to past orders.

Yes, our fees can change. We don't promise that they never will. Here is what we do promise, and where it's written.

What our terms and pricing page say

  • Notice. Our fees are part of the Terms of Service. We tell you about changes to the terms by email or in your dashboard at least 15 days before they apply, or longer if a change needs more work on your side.
  • Past orders. Our pricing page says any change to these rates is announced in advance and never applies to past orders.
  • Open checkouts. The fee in force when a checkout starts applies to that order. It isn't recalculated afterwards.
  • Your choice. If you don't agree with a change to the terms, you can close your account before it applies.

What you can do if a fee changes

  • Compare the plans again. See is Pro worth it?
  • Move to the other plan under Plan & fees.
  • Close your account. From Settings until your store has its first order, and by writing to privacy@dockstall.com after that. See close your account.

See your own rate

Plan & fees shows your current plan and fee. Rate history lists your changes with their dates. Each order shows the fee it paid, on the Dockstall fee line.

Offers that end

If we gave you a lower fee or Pro for a while, the card on Plan & fees shows when it ends. After that date your plan's own terms come back. That end date is part of the offer.

Stripe's fees are separate

Stripe sets its own processing fees and charges them on your Stripe account, so you bear them. We show them and never mark them up, but we don't control them. Your Stripe dashboard shows what you actually pay.

Where to read the exact words

The Terms of Service are under Legal pages in your account menu, and the wording there is what counts.
