Help center / Coupons and analytics
See how a coupon is doing
The Coupons page shows how many times each code has been used, and Analytics shows uses and the total discount given in the period you pick.
On the Coupons page
Each coupon has its own card, showing:
- How many times it has been used, as "12 used", or "12 / 50 used" with a bar if you set Max redemptions
- What it applies to, whether it is once per buyer, and when it expires
Paused and expired coupons look faded. This count covers the coupon's whole life.
In Analytics
- Open Analytics.
- Choose 7d, 30d or 90d at the top.
- Find the Coupons card.
Each code shows how many times it was used in that period and the total discount it gave away. The list is sorted by uses. To see what a campaign did alongside a code, compare it with the Campaigns card. See track your links.
On a single order
Open an order under Orders. If it used a coupon, you'll see a Discount line above Charged to buyer.
Why the numbers may look high
- Refunds don't take a use away. A refunded order still counts on the card and in Analytics, and the use isn't given back.
- Free orders count. A 100% code still adds a use, even though no money changed hands.
What isn't available
- The Orders page can't filter by coupon, so there is no list of the orders behind a code.
- Analytics has no export.
- You can't see codes that buyers tried and got wrong.
What a coupon costs you
The total discount in Analytics is what you gave up on price, in Dockstall's records. It doesn't include Stripe's fees, which are on your Stripe dashboard.
